In 2020 Saint Peter’s received a prestigious 2:1 matching grant awarded to a select few prominent houses of worship nationwide through The National Fund for Sacred Places.
When first granted to us, the primary purpose was to address much needed maintenance and repair for the Sanctuary’s distinctive skylights. However, within a year’s time our space experienced the catastrophic water main break. As our need broadened, we were able to adapt the funding to address the skylight repair as well as greater restoration projects in the Sanctuary.
