Organ Recital

June 4, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Peter's Church

Dr. Bálint Karosi will present his first organ recital at Saint Peter's since joining Saint Peter's as the Director of Music, Classical in 2015. Karosi, known for his improvisations and compositions, is a renowned interpreter of J. S. Bach. Along with David Pike, Karosi was responsible for the total-tonal redesign of the Klais organ by C.B. Fisk in 2023. This recital will feature the best combinations of the organ in works by Weckmann, J. S. Bach, Nishimura, Jongen, and Karosi.
